Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia and France Telecom's Orange have committed to a three year partnership to push digital entertainment services in Europe. The partnership extends the first agreement signed by the two companies in February.
It includes the addition of 10 new Nokia handsets to the Orange’s network. The new features will offer customers direct access to the Orange Music Store, to the Orange games, also the NGage games and the new Nokia Maps application. The companies declared that their target include the creation of 10 million active Mobile Maps users on the Nokia devices over nine European countries by the year 2010.The executive vice president of Orange's Personal Communications Services, Olaf Swantee said about their new partnership that "This collaboration underlines Orange's drive to create strategic partnerships that will give customers the best possible mobile multimedia experience in the simplest way,"
