Today Nokia declares their N78’s availability in the market. This 3G Smartphone is Nokia’s new entry level Nseries product. At 113 x 49 x 15.1 mm, The N78 is notably thinner and lighter (102g) than the N73 and N78 feels smaller in the user’s hand.
The overall design of the N78 has similarities to the N81 and N96, the front of the device is divided between the 2.4 inch (QVGA, 240 x 320 Pixels, and 16 million colors) display and the keys that are very usable with good tactile feedback. It comes with a Symbian operating system which has S60 third edition software installed. Now the users can install their needed software. The user also can view office format documents as the 3G Smartphone supports document viewing capabilities. The 3G HSDPA technology of it which provides the user fast connectivity transfers and downloads data. The powerful 3.2 megapixel digital camera comes with all the important features. This high performance camera comes with Carl Zeiss optics and a Tessar lens to ensure a clear and focused shot is captured it also includes an auto focus feature, auto exposure, 20 x digital zoom and a LED type flash function. The music player supports all popular music formats and the video player can play video using the RealPlayer video playing facility which supports Real Video, MPEG4, Flash 3, H264 and H263 video formats. The Smartphone also features a built in stereo FM Visual Radio that allows the user to tune into their favorite station. It also allows the user to enjoy 3G video calls by using the second camera which is situated on the front of the N78. The user can enjoy wireless communication using Wi-Fi technology. A built in assisted GPS system supports Nokia maps which can provide the user with directions.
